Typhoon Prasang, the 14th typhoon of the year, made a second landfall along the coast of Fengxian District, Shanghai, on the evening of the 19th. It weakened into a tropical depression at 8:00 AM on the 20th in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, and has now entered Taizhou.

Due to the typhoon, the Jiangyin Maritime Safety Administration has suspended all operations and navigation. Terminals within its jurisdiction have ceased operations, and ferry lines and locks are out of service. All 942 vessels in Jiangyin Port have entered safe waters to weather the storm. Maritime authorities are monitoring vessel movements through the "Zhihui Jianghai" platform, with all on-site enforcement personnel on duty. Emergency tugboats and patrol vessels remain on standby.
