Major Traffic Accident Occurs on Lusong Bridge in Zhuzhou, Hunan: 6 Dead, 8 Injured
On the morning of September 23, a serious traffic accident occurred on Lusong Bridge in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, resulting in 6 deaths and 8 injuries. According to official sources in Zhuzhou City, relevant departments have launched emergency response measures at the scene. The injured are currently not in life-threatening condition, and the driver responsible for the accident has been taken into custody by police.
According to local officials familiar with the incident, a taxi and a ride-hailing vehicle collided on Lusong Bridge, causing the ride-hailing car to lose control and veer into oncoming traffic. It subsequently struck multiple motor vehicles and electric bikes, resulting in a severe traffic accident. Footage from the scene shows a white vehicle traveling in the wrong direction from the opposite lane, colliding with several vehicles and causing chaos at the scene.

The accident has been confirmed to have caused 6 deaths and 8 injuries. The injured have been transported to the hospital for treatment, and fortunately, none of the injuries are life-threatening at this time. The local funeral home in Zhuzhou stated that the remains of the deceased have been delivered to the funeral home for proper handling.
Following the incident, departments of the Zhuzhou Municipal Government responded promptly, dispatching rescue personnel to the scene to handle the accident and implementing traffic control measures on sections of Lusong Bridge.
