That morning, the Shenyang Fire Department issued a statement indicating the fire originated in a bathhouse undergoing renovation. The ignition point was located at No. 78 Huanghe North Street, where flames erupted on the second floor of the establishment. Upon receiving the emergency call, the Shenyang Fire and Rescue Brigade swiftly dispatched personnel to the scene for firefighting operations. Following urgent rescue efforts, the blaze was extinguished at 10:19 a.m. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Multiple on-site videos show smoke billowing from another building under construction adjacent to the burning structure, with several fire trucks rushing to the scene nearby.
