A new wave of strong cold air is expected to affect China from the 18th to the 19th, bringing strong winds and temperature drops to areas north of the Yangtze River. Temperatures will plummet by 8 to 10°C in eastern Northwest China, Northeast China, and central-eastern North China. In northern North China and parts of central-southern Northeast China, the temperature drop will reach 10 to 12°C, with localized areas experiencing a decrease exceeding 14°C.

Following the cooling trend, most areas in Northeast China will see highs around 5°C, while North China and the Huanghuai region will only reach highs slightly above 10°C, with lows around 5°C. In the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, highs will drop to around 20°C, bringing a noticeable autumn chill. In major cities, Beijing will see highs around 20°C over the next three days, but temperatures are expected to drop to 12°C on the 19th.
