Floodwaters surged in Luan Nan County, inundating multiple households.
On October 21, 2024, a sudden surge in tidal waters at Zui Dong Pier in Luan Nan County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, caused flooding in multiple residential homes and courtyards during the early morning hours. On-site footage revealed water levels rising above ankle height inside some affected homes. In Nanbao Village, several courtyards were also inundated, prompting residents to erect wooden planks at their doorways in an attempt to block the incoming tide.
