Illegal construction within transmission protection zones, unauthorized crossings, tree planting, illegal operations, as well as sudden and seasonal external damage pose significant threats to the safe operation of power lines. In some areas, isolated towers have even emerged, severely jeopardizing the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Therefore, our company has developed the "Transmission Line Video Surveillance Device" to address the video monitoring needs for transmission (and distribution) lines. This device addresses requirements such as line patrols, external damage prevention, three-crossing monitoring, tree height control, construction site crane operations, and vehicle crossing overhead lines, thereby ensuring the stable operation of transmission lines.

II. Working Principle

The image and video monitoring device primarily functions as a video surveillance system, comprising a main control unit, communication module, power supply module, AI-enabled PTZ dome camera, and wireless transmission unit. Powered by solar energy and lithium batteries, it utilizes front-end AI PTZ cameras to collect video data. This data is transmitted via 4G/5G/WiFi/OPGW fiber networks to the monitoring center, enabling real-time surveillance of various conditions affecting transmission line operations. These include line patrols, external intrusion prevention, triple crossovers, tree overhangs, construction site tower cranes, and vehicle passages beneath overhead lines. This ensures stable line operation.

III. Features and Functions

1. 200W-pixel HD video: Features 200W-pixel high-definition real-time video viewing capability with a resolution of ≥1080P, enabling live video monitoring of line corridors, tower foundations, and potential hazard sites.

2. 360° Panoramic Viewing: Equipped with a pan-tilt camera featuring 360° horizontal rotation and ±90° vertical tilt, enabling panoramic surveillance coverage. Supports continuous 360° horizontal rotation at speeds ranging from 0.6 to 200°/s.

3. Starlight Night Vision: Full Color, Daylight Clarity Industrial-grade ultra starlight night vision with sensitivity as low as 0.001Lux. Fearless in darkness, it still shines brightly.

4. Beyond-line-of-sight Dynamic Patrol: 40x/20x hybrid zoom options, up to 255 preset positions, and 16 patrol routes.

5. Intelligent Hazard Video Recognition: Utilizes lightweight, low-power AI algorithms to enable on-device hazard detection.

6. "AI+Video" Operation Mode: For specific hazards (such as wildfires), the "AI+Video" operation mode can be activated to record video evidence.

7. Edge Data Aggregation Computing: WiFi/Bluetooth/RS485/Ethernet ports provide rich interfaces to enable edge-side status-aware data aggregation.

8. Grid Protocol Standard Access: Supports grid standard protocols and enables access to the internal unified video platform.

9. 24-hour continuous recording at the front end: Supports continuous recording at the front end, with recordings overwritten in a looping manner.

10. Optional built-in encryption chip: The device can be equipped with a security encryption chip to enable encrypted data transmission, ensuring secure data transfer.
