There is an urgent need for a monitoring system that can both provide video surveillance and measure temperatures of towers, fittings, clamps, insulators, and other equipment. This system would provide decision-making support for transmission line maintenance while ensuring stable line operation.

II. Working Principle

Aerial Line Image Video Monitoring Device (Dual-Spectrum PTZ Camera) primarily employs dual-spectrum infrared and visible light video monitoring, comprising a main control unit, communication module, power supply module, dual-spectrum PTZ camera, and wireless transmission unit; Powered by solar energy and lithium batteries, it utilizes the front-end dual-spectrum dome camera to collect video data. Image/video data is transmitted to the monitoring center via 4G/5G/WIFI/OPGW fiber optic networks. This enables real-time temperature monitoring of transmission line towers and equipment, promptly detecting thermal defects and issuing early warnings. It provides comprehensive status tracking of tower conditions, hardware fittings, insulator strings, conductors, and clearance zones, ensuring stable line operation.

12. The device should be capable of collecting information such as power supply voltage and mobile communication signal strength at the installation point, with a minimum data collection interval of 1 minute.

13. The monitoring center platform enables remote power on/off control of cameras, as well as remote configuration and control of camera focal length, aperture, depth of field, image quality, PTZ orientation, preset positions, and other settings.

14. The equipment supports the China Southern Power Grid communication protocol and can connect to the power grid company's internal network platform (supports APN access capability).

15. Under conditions of continuous absence of sunlight and no other power supply, the split-type unit's battery should be capable of sustaining the monitoring device's normal operation for at least 15 days.

16. If an alarm device is configured, it will automatically select the voice alarm mode for on-site alerts when the alarm is triggered (alarm and public address functions can be remotely enabled or disabled).
