The random occurrence of typhoon disasters, particularly coastal typhoons capable of causing significant damage within a short timeframe, makes them one of the ocean's major hazards. Characterized by suddenness and localized impact, they occur annually in considerable numbers, resulting in substantial resource losses along coastlines and posing threats to residents' lives and property. When typhoon warnings are issued, the timeliness of early warning, prevention, public outreach, surveillance, monitoring, and management hinges critically on the promptness of disaster preparedness measures. The availability of real-time on-site information directly impacts the effectiveness of typhoon defense decisions.

How to achieve standardized, scientific, and information-based coastal typhoon defense work, ensuring early warning, early management, and early prevention—intelligent typhoon monitoring systems have become essential tools for mitigating coastal typhoon disasters.

The Dingyue Safety System employs a stainless steel metal structure powered by solar energy. The top light sphere serves as a typhoon warning indicator, synchronized with the five-level typhoon warning system; it features five colors: red, yellow, orange, blue, and white. An LED display scrolls warning messages, while the voice system broadcasts alert content. Synchronized red and blue warning strobe lights are integrated, with expanded remote monitoring and environmental sensor capabilities. All functions transmit data to a remote cloud terminal—the Smart Emergency Management Platform. This triple-defense typhoon warning system enables effective management and timely control.
